On Saturday 4th November at 7:30pm, St Mary’s is hosting a production of A Monk’s Tale, a new comedy written to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. It is written by BBC Comedy Writer James Cary (Miranda, Bluestone 42), who also wrote the highly successful play The God Particle. The play has run in Edinburgh to critical acclaim and will be touring around the UK throughout the autumn.
Damian Arnold of The Times says:
“A great deal of silliness make for a hugely entertaining hour that revels in the absurdities of one of the biggest religious arguments in history.”
