What happens at Messy Church?

IMG_4062Messy Church is all about families having a fun, noisy and messy time together as we learn about Jesus. Each time there is a theme that brings everything together. For the first 45 minutes or so, there are crafts and games to do together. Then we have a short time of singing, prayer and a Bible story. After that we finish with tea altogether.

Where is it?

Messy Church happens in the hall at Elmtree School, Elmtree Hill, Chesham, HP5 2PA. You can park on the roads nearby – please be sensitive to local residents.

Do we need to bring anything?

No. Food appropriate for children will be provided, though we can’t promise to cater for very specific dietary requirements so get in touch if you’re not sure.IMG_4428

Does it cost anything?

No – it’s free.

Who can come?

IMG_4482Anyone at all is welcome at Messy Church. It is particularly appropriate for children under the age of about 11 with their parents or carers, but over-11’s often love to join in by helping younger children with the craft, games and activities – they need not feel excluded at all. All under-18’s need to come with an adult.
