St Mary’s Chesham

We are a friendly church of all ages next to Lowndes Park in Chesham. We have a number of worship services and ways in which we’re involved with our local community and with Christians right across the world.

Covid-19 update

We have plans to stream a Church service this coming Sunday as we will not be able to physically meet together! The link for all virtual services is here.

After national guidance, we’ve suspended all services at our physical church building until further notice.

Please click the ‘Services’ tab for details about ongoing online opportunities to meet virtually for worship.

Resources for parents to share with their children during the schools closure are available here and also on Facebook.

Resources for our young people are available here.

All other church meetings are suspended for the foreseeable future. We will also not be offering baptism services until the suspension of church services is listed. For weddings and funerals, please contact the Parish Office.

If you would like someone to be in touch from the church or you know someone who would appreciate this, please also contact Parish Office.

There are resources from the Church of England here to help us all pray at this time of crisis.

Click here to read the current church advice. You can also read a letter from John Shepherd, Acting Team Rector, about the situation. Let’s continue to pray for those affected and for all who will be caring for them.
